Om kaffen

Dark and deep round coffee flavor you get here from these carefully selected Costa Rican beans. The coffee offers elegant notes of blackcurrant, almonds and a soft sweetness of marzipan, which together create a full-bodied and harmonious espresso. The natural characteristics of Costa Rica's lush highlands give the beans a distinctive roundness and a pleasantly low acidity, which makes them ideal for both pure espresso and milk-based drinks. The result is an intense but balanced coffee experience, where depth and sweetness merge beautifully.

About the cultivation and processing -

After the natural fermentation process, the coffee is pushed through a channel where the mucilage is separated from the beans by movement. We then use another machine, called Centriflux, which is used to remove some water before the pre-fermentation and drying process.

About the producer, Coopelibertad

Coopelibertad RL was founded in 1961, in one of the most significant moments for cooperativism in Costa Rica, and it came to represent a solution for coffee producers in the Heredia area to obtain better results from their agricultural work. Since its foundation, the cooperative has worked shoulder to shoulder with its members in the search for the common good, thus supporting the improvement of their economic and social situation through the cultivation of coffee. On a large number of farms distributed throughout the Central Valley, the cooperative members are concerned with taking care of the coffee trees. Mainly grown with varieties such as Caturra and Catuaí, each farmer uses sustainable techniques that will benefit their productivity and the quality of the coffee. From September to March, the berries are harvested from the farms and then brought to the mill. The coffee fruit goes through each of the operational steps, constantly monitored by strict quality controls.

About our choice of coffee beans

Coffee is at the heart of everything we do at EverBean. It is the driving force behind our commitment to equipment, service and guidance in coffee brewing. We value the quality of the coffee's raw materials, as that is what ends up in your cup. At EverBean, our primary focus is to ensure quality in every cup. We import carefully selected coffee beans from the world's best sources to ensure the ultimate taste experience."

The continents

No matter which coffee farm we get the beans from, you can always find information about the origin, the farm they are grown on, the process the beans have gone through and the history behind the producer. For us, it would be anything but the truth if we took all the credit for the beautiful taste experiences in the cups.

Our coffee selection covers most of the world and we never take home a coffee we don't like just to make money. We stand behind our work and taste.

Sometimes we take home very exclusive beans in smaller portions than the "normal" roasts we have. We do this to be able to offer you something completely unique and expand our knowledge at the same time.

YOUR choice, YOUR taste

Whether it's on a trip abroad, a conversation with a random person, or through our regular partners around the world, we always take the best green beans home and roast them at our own roastery.

Wherever the beans come from, we give them the utmost respect and care, as we know how much they have been through to get to your cup. You can always ask about our coffee, its origin and the process. Or you can read much more about the journey of a coffee bean on our blog.
